Roger Waters wins at Concert Industry Awards

pollstarThe 23rd annual Pollstar Concert Industry Awards took place Friday night at Club Nokia in Los Angeles, California.
Celebrating all the very best of 2011 from the large numbers of tours and concert productions, the event was crammed with a large number of categories. Unsurprisingly a number of Roger Waters/Pink Floyd related collaborators picked up awards. Whilst he didn't win "Major Tour of the Year" (Lady Gaga was awarded this one), Roger did - quite rightly - win the "Most Creative Stage Production" award, for his incredible tour of The Wall, which from beginning to end stands at 191 shows at time of writing this.
Other winners included Clair ("Sound Company of the Year") who are responsible for sound production on Roger's tour.

General sale tickets will go on sale on February 20th through this link to Ticketmaster.com. The public sale will also see a limited number of VIP packages made available for each show on the tour.
