Roger Waters resolveu subir ao altar mais vez. A quarta tentativa do eterno baixista do Pink Floyd será com Laurie Durning, com quem está junto desde 2004.

Laurie contou ao jornal New York Post que os dois pretendem se casar no começo de 2012. No próximo ano, Waters entrará em turnê para relembrar na íntegra o clássico álbum do Floyd 'The Wall', de 1979, e a cerimônia vai anteceder a agenda de shows: "Nos pareceu uma boa idea casar antes", contou a noiva. The 2012 Roger Waters The Wall Live tour increases ever more, with the addition this evening of a show, being held on April 27th, 2012, at Foro Sol in Mexico City. For this show, a special new design of the tour poster has been designed (click thumbnail to the left), and it's a lovely change to the design we all know and love. Gone is the screaming face, and now we have hammers smashing their way through The Wall, and the plane flying away, keeping well clear of the brickwork for a change.

Roger Waters - segunda noite em Edmonton

The 2012 Roger Waters The Wall Live tour is gathering dates nicely - it's now up to 67 shows between January 27th, when the tour starts in Perth, Australia, and July 14th, when the tour concludes in Philadelphia, PA, USA. This is due to the addition of a second night at the Rexall Place in Edmonton, in Alberta, Canada, on May 29th.
Tickets for this show go on sale next Monday, November 21st, at 10am MST through this direct link to Ticketmaster Canada. Obviously, if any other dates get added for any other location, we will let you know, and to reiterate, there are currently no plans for any shows in Europe or other countries or cities that haven't been included in the existing schedule.

Crítica ao capitalismo, objeto se soltou durante show e foi encontrado em campo do golfe.
Ex-Pink Floyd se apresentou no festival Coachella.

Depois de se perder em sua aparição no festival Coachella, na Califórnia, o "porco capitalista" inflável do show de Roger Waters foi encontrado aos pedaços em clube de golfe da cidade La Quinta.

O porco voador gigante, que integrava os shows do Pink Floyd desde o álbum "Animals", que traz a canção "Pigs on the wing", soltou-se das amarras e saiu voando sobre o público do festival. Os organizadores ofereceram uma recompensa de US$ 10 mil e quatro ingressos vitalícios para quem entregasse o porco.

 Segundo o jornal "The Desert Sun", o produtor do Coachella, Bill Fold, confirmou a descoberta como sendo os restos do objeto. Dois casais encontraram, cada um, a metade que formava o porco. Eles vão dividir o prêmio e cada par receberá as quatro entradas prometidas pela organização.
Ainda não se sabe como o porco escapou durante a performance do ex-Pink Floyd.

Susan Stoltz, uma das pessoas que descobriram o objeto inflável, disse que "era interesante que o porco tenha sido encontrado em um clube de campo". Ela declarou que estava vestindo uma camiseta do Pink Floyd com a inscrição "Wish you were here" (queria que você estivesse aqui, frase de uma canção da banda) quando leu sobre o sumiço do porco.

Em Coachella, Waters apresentou clássicos do Pink Floyd, incluindo "Mother", "Shine on you crazy diamond", "Have a cigar" e o álbum "Dark side of the moon".

The 2012 Roger Waters The Wall Live tour keeps on expanding, and tonight a second concert - being held on March 3rd, 2012 - has been added for his visit to Santiago, Chile.
The RogerWaters.com presales have started immediately, for those already registered with Santiago as one of their cities of interest. Roger's tour of The Wall arrives in Brazil, for a show at the Estádio Beira-Rio (officially the Estádio José Pinheiro Borda).
The concert was rescheduled to the intense interest in tickets for the Argentinian shows, and was originally due to take place on March 17th.

Roger Waters - 2012 Wall Tour US/Canada dates confirmed

Well, after months of rumour and speculation, the North American leg of the Roger Waters The Wall Live 2012 tour has now been announced. Running to some 36 dates, a number of the venues are new to Roger, and some are the previously mentioned baseball stadiums.
Roger told Rolling Stone recently: "There are quite a few markets we didn't cover last time, like Austin, but we want to base the tour around Saturday nights in baseball stadiums. As we speak, I'm at my office working on an outdoor version of the show. We've done light tests at Fenway Park and Wrigley Field and Yankee Stadium just to see what the ambient light is like. And it's fine. It works. We've taken part of the Wall and the projectors into those three places."
There are still no signs of European dates, although certain venues seem pretty sure that they are hosting concerts (notably the Stade de France in Paris, on September 29th, for example).
