"The Making of Pink Floyd: The Wall" - Gerald Scarfe [paperback]

Gerald Scarfe's excellent "The Making of Pink Floyd: The Wall" has rightly received much praise from the Floyd community. For those who haven't read our review of the original version of the book yet, click here to find out more about it, and to see what we thought. On November 10th, 2011, the book arrives in paperback format from the publisher's Phoenix, with a newly designed cover.
Irrespective of which edition you go for, we're sure that you'll love the insider's view of working on The Wall, along with the insights that the likes of Roger Waters provides along the way.
For those yet to purchase this excellent book, and indeed for those who already have the original hardback, we've taken a good look at both to compare and contrast, and our thoughts are below.

Roger Waters helping Mexican homebuilding charity

As visitors to his official Facebook page will know, One Small House has teamed up with Roger Waters to help build homes for 10 extremely impoverished families in Mexico this December. From now through the end of December, Roger will match every dollar donated by fans. Click here to meet the families and give $5, $10, $100 or more! One Small House has built over 30 homes in rural Mexico over the past 10 years. Through utilizing trusted contacts and community leaders, needy and hard-working families are identified and assessed for eligibility. The records keep on tumbling - Roger Waters has now added an astonishing NINTH show, being held on March 20th 2012, at the River Plate in Buenos Aires, Argentina as part of The Wall Live tour. Will his run there at the venue go into double figures? Only time will tell! Finalmente, a notícia, sabemos que alguns de vocês têm sido intensamente esperando. Esta tarde, a confirmação oficial veio através das datas revisto para o show do Roger Waters The Wall turnê ao vivo de 2012 no Brasil.
